The Sacred Art of Joking with James Cary
The St. Michael’s centre have James Cary coming to bring his one man show on Friday 29th November at 19:30.
Based on his book, The Sacred Art of Joking, it’s about how jokes can go horribly wrong, especially in the realm of religion. James will explain why Christians should be able to take a joke and how the Bible is way funnier than it first appears. Seriously!
Was Jesus funny? Why does religion have to be so serious? Maybe it doesn’t.
James Cary has contributed to BBC shows like Miranda, Another Case of Milton Jones and Newsnight.
Early bird tickets are available until 30th September, book here.
