WEBox Update from Maki Miço

As we loaded the lorry in December, I was struck like never before that 2937 WEBoxes meant that 2937 children and young people, in different parts across Albania, were going to receive them!

So, a BIG ‘Thank You’ to all who participated in one way or another with the WEBoxes and in helping to provide food parcels. With your help, these are enabling the churches to break new ground for opportunities to usher in God’s kingdom.

This was the fourth year of the WEBox project so far, and each of the trips has been unique. It is a great encouragement to see our sisters and brothers in Albania take more ownership of distributions, thinking outside the ‘box’ and acting beyond their comfort zone so that the WEBoxes can truly be tools of compassion.

With a smaller team this year, we were able to visit and distribute the WEBoxes in some new deprived areas as well as places that we have been before in towns and city centres.

In one instance we had children who had to walk for at least 3 miles, to come and receive their WEBox.  Once again we have been struck by the contrast of the rich and the poor and have come away convinced that there is definitely a need to continue to be a blessing and support and empower the local believers for the furtherance of the kingdom.

We will be producing some material for you to share with churches and groups in the coming weeks, and we will keep you posted with our WEBox plans for this year.

Thank you so much for your support and I look forward to your help and partnership this coming year!
